I have a question for KEM asked by a Ostomy chapter member who is going to try the EZ Vent. Can it adhere if one is wearing the outer-cloth pouch? Thank you.

Dear Terry:

If a pouch has a liner / cover a small section of the liner needs to be trimmed away and the pouch underneath cleaned as recommended.
The Osto-EZ-Vent must be attached directly to the pouch. If the OEV is attached to the liner, once a hole is made through both the liner and the pouch, there will be a space between the two layers. This will cause any contents in the pouch to get between the layers. Embarassed
